Members of the Y2 team conducted an interdisciplinary, multi-modal traffic study of three intersections and connecting corridors in Evansville, Wyoming. Services include transportation planning, traffic and safety, and utility engineering evaluations, as well as natural resources inventory and landscape architecture evaluations. An FHWA-standard Safety Audit was conducted as part of the evaluation, as well as public involvement outreach. I-25 Resurfacing Project
Under contract with WYDOT, Y2 prepared final design plans for an asphalt mill and overlay project on 8.12 miles of Interstate 25, between roadway markers 219.00 and 227.12 north of Casper. In addition to 8.05 miles of roadway, the project included 0.07 miles of structures, the Castle Creek Bridge, two pass separations, and the Midwest Interchange (Shepperson Road). Project components included grading, resurfacing, a deceleration lane, reseeding, new guardrail at bridge ends, and traffic control.
