Water Pre-Treatment Plant Startup

Y2 was selected to provide oversight and engineering design services for the Pretreatment Plant Startup Project for the City of Rawlins. The professional services provided include: field inspections to identify system assets, development of an Operations and Maintenance Manual, providing an estimation of probable operations and maintenance costs, development and implementation of a two-year training program for City personnel, development of plans and specifications for pretreatment equipment replacement and equipment upgrades, detailed quality control review of design documents, and preliminary and final design documents and DEQ/WQD Permits to Construct as required.

The water treatment plant is successfully up and running, and effectively treating the City’s surface water. It also helps manage the City’s water supply in the summer months between the City’s water sources, which include the North Platte River, Nugget Wells, Sage Creek Springs, and associated reservoirs.
